Hamilton Compact Instrument is the minimum and cheapest workstation of Hamilton product. It is mainly designed for OEM users. This small machine has four pipetting channels and barcode scanners for sample and consumable loading, and it can meet the requirements of various kinds of laboratory and diagnostic automation solution. It was wide used in China, including Daan Gene, Kehua and Bioxun. But the software development was difficult, and the usage of this instrument was limited.
We developed Hamilton Compact Instrument development kit, which with we can communicate with instrument and control hardware directly without any Hamilton software, support all modules and functions of the workstation, and can run on various Windows system. Using this development kit, we can quickly develop user application to the control the device, and reduce the difficulty of the development and maintenance cost, improve the equipment in the laboratory and diagnostic automation function.
At present, the kit has been successfully applied to the blood grouping system of Bioxun for many years, which became the smallest blood grouping instrument for low throughput users. Due to high cost performance, it has become the most popular instrument product of Bioxun.
